Bancroft School Library Makeover by Target Commercial Interiors
Bancroft School Library
But before kids can read, they need a library to enjoy and, of course, books. That’s where Target comes in.
Through our School Library Makeover program – in its third year – we’re helping kids across the country discover their passion for reading.
Bancroft Elementary School in Minneapolis kicks off this year’s efforts – it’s the first of 32 extreme Target School Library Makeovers to be unveiled.
Students at Bancroft and the 31 other schools nationwide will enjoy a completely redesigned space with new furniture, shelves, carpet, technology and 2,000 new books.

Target Commercial Interiors Team Member Volunteers
Bancroft students, staff, Minneapolis community members and participating Target Commercial Interiors team members got a first glimpse of the new library during the grand reopening ceremony on Monday, April 19.
Our Volunteers were on site that day to put the finishing touches on the newly renovated library, assemble furniture, organize and distribute new books, and even read to students.

The Bancroft School Library Makeover unveiling fell within National Volunteer Week, April 18 to 24, when Target Commercial Interiors team members, along with tens of thousands of Target team members across the country are recognized for donating their time and talents to make a difference in their communities.
